Exclamation which transfercase???

i have a 84 bronco on 54" w/ 2.5 ton axles.
i happened to split the transfercase in 2 pieces (pulling out a much havier f250 diesel on 40's)

i was at the junk yard today and seen 2 different cases that would fit
1st out of a 80's f150 which was the same thing (new precision gear np208f1)
2nd was out of a 80's f250 diesel which looked bigger but i think it was lighter in wieght (breg warner)

please help me if anyone has some info on these

Are they both independant transfercases? If so I would go with the NP.

Does the transfercase bolt to the transmission or is there a driveshaft from the transmission to the transfercase?

Divorced independant same thing same thing. That is what I would do is change the rear transmission cover and install an independant/divorced transfercase.
