what would be the best fluid or grease to add to a'96' ford ranger 5sp. transmission?

Back in the '70s, 85-90wt gear lube was the preferred lubricant for a manual transmission . For the '80s the recommended lubricant is engine oil, and in the 90's, AT transmission fluid came into use for manual transmissions.
