Tranny fluid
I have a 1986 F150 5.8 L with a C6 tranny just got it rebuilt no one can tell me what fluid goes in it says on the dipstick it takes Dexron 2 they no longer Make so what's my alternative

Dexron 2 was the current ATF at that time. All subsequent (higher) numbers are backward-compatible. But to find the current recommended juices, try the Quick Reference Charts on the Ford website:
