Default Tidy up

I'm in the middle of a intake/carb replacement and doing the timing cover gaskets etc and I'm wanting to tidy up under the hood. Does anyone know of a good page or description of what can go with regards to the vacuum lines, smog pump and all the crap that gets in the way? It's a huge ugly mess under the hood.

It's an 1985 351W

Ford doesn't just throw extra parts under the hood before it sells a vehicle. Each one has a specific purpose. If you know enough about how engines work to re-engineer that one, you wouldn't be posting this question. If you want it to run right, keep it working the way Ford designed it to work. If you want it to work better, swap in a COMPLETE better engine (with ALL its associated parts, including emissions controls).

But if it's just ugly: close the hood. The engine bay is not there to be looked at.
