Thoughts on Injector Size
I will be acquiring parts for my inevitable upgrade of my "New" truck. I want it basically stock but "Breathing" better. It will be my daily driver. I plan to put in long tube headers with a dual exhaust and no cats.
In doing this, i will also pull the plenum to repair a valve cover issue and was wondering if it would be better to upgrade my injectors, or just clean, test, and replace.
This UPGRADE will be the a fore mentioned headers, 3" body lift, 33" all terrain tires, removal of the smog pump, and basically cleaning up everything in the engine compartment.
Engine and truck are in fine condition, and a complete compression test will be performed before I start investing in parts. Though i see no potential for problems here.
My end goal is a reliable work truck with an awesome exhaust sound and a modest boost in horsepower and torque.
Any thoughts will be appreciated.

No need to upgrade if the truck is staying mostly stock. Stock injectors can even support some basic upgrades such as better air intake or upgraded exhaust etc. Whether you clean or buy replacements is up to you.
