I'm thinking about getting an intake manifold, and I want to know if I can, even if my truck has a 2bbl carb, and how will it improve my performance.

 

id be very curious to know about this too. im trying to figure out what i can do to improve performance on my truck in anyway

 

Going from a 2bbl to a 4bbl is one of the best things you can do for more performance. I don't know off hand what the horse power numbers will be but I do know that more air and fuel equals more horsepower. There are also mail order companies that offer complete packages with the intake, 4bbl carb, air cleaner, and gaskets for just about any V8 engine.
