Temp sensor location
Any know where the temp sensor for the pcm is located on my 1986 F150 with 302 fi engine? I've found the temp gauge sending unit

Here's a pic I found on the web for a 1987 5.0. It might be in the same location as your 1986. Have you checked this location?
Another diagram on different site points to same location underneath distributor.

On the Thermostat Housing, 2 wire connector...... Light Green/Yellow -- Black/White wires..

Found it and replaced..Thanks. Access not easy but a deep 1" socket helped.
