Tailgate swap

I would like to find out if I can swap a tailgate from a 1969 F-150 to my 1977 F-150?

I would like to but the tailgate is at a pick n’ pull and I really don’t want to buy it without knowing for sure that is going to fit.

Does that pull a part have a complete refund return policy within like 30 days? The one around me does, so if they do you have nothing to lose

I believe it will have to be from a 73-79 to work on a 77
