Default steering is a chore

86 f150 2wd 351wHO.
I had worn out ball joints, tie rod ends, radius arm bushings and the truck was a bear to keep on the road. Being the industrious person that I am with little funds I replaced all those parts myself. I couldn't find any info on aligning it myself so I took it into a local tire and alignment shop. Now the truck tracks straight down the road and is pretty tight on the front but if there is a bump in the road or a groove or whatever that catches the tire the truck wants to steer to the left or to the right and keep going in that direction. It never wants to correct back to center. I changed tires on the front and this didn't make the problem go away. So in short, its still a bear to keep on the road.

Anyone have any ideas what I might have done wrong? or experienced this before and have some insight?

Thanks in advance.

Might need new shocks as well. When dealing with suspension problems you need to check all parts. Shocks are a major part of steering. Please check your front shocks if you have 2x4 if you have 4x4 check all shocks as well as your steering damper.
