starter relays

Default starter relays

took out starter relay and didn't replace it for 2 weeks once i put the new one in the head lights won't come on and there is no power to the ignition; when i try jumping across the posts on the starter relay it will engage the starter but still no power to the headlights or the ignition tried cleaning the grounds and everything i can think of , could someone please help me with a suggestion?

I wonder if you forgot to put back all the wires. The battery side terminal of the starter relay is often used as a connection point for other things.

I know we are in the Clasic Corner section, what year are we talking about? Engine size can't hurt either. You are asking for help, help us first.

I need to know the year of your truck so I can reference the exact style of starter selenoid you have. You have left off one or two of the wires but I have to look at the year to tell you how they fit. It a very simple thing.
