Default Splicing Engine Wiring Harness

Well the truck had major wiring problems when I bought it and I went and ahead and got wiring out if another truck . . Gonna splice it in at the firewall on both sides of the truck. . Cuz I'm missing the whole ignition wiring system . . An go ahead and replace it all once I splice the one I bought. Was wondering if a nhyone else has attempted to do the same ?

Well I've got all the wiring spliced in on the driver side of the truck and the other side seems okay to deal with for now. But I am having troubles with wiring my Universal Igniton switch that I bought it has IGN , ACC, BATT, on the back of it. I also know that Fords Ignition System is very confusing and werid and I really dont know much. I need to figure out what wires need need to be hooked up to coil and start relay along with the universal ignintion switch . I will be moren likely glad to explain and get into detail as much as I can on where I am at and on the problem I am having . ? Wondering if I should try go about hooking up an igniton switch or switch out the whole steering column an try to go bak to stock igniton switch by replacin the whole steering column..

As stated earlier, tough job. Have a question about your universal switch, where is the start terminal? Why can't you use an OEM replacement?
