speedo cable?

speedo cable?
I can't figure out where to put in the other end of the cable. I looked all over under the truck and I can not find where it goes. I have an 84 F150 with the 4.9 300 2WD 3 speed manual.

Honestly what u might want to try is autozone.com I'm registered on there with all my trucks and I usually go there to find out how to do something if I can't fund out how on here hope this helps good luck

Which end? If it is the transmission end it goes into the tailshaft on the transmission, if it is the speedometer end your gonna have to pull the cluster to get it back on the speedometer.
