Does anyone know which Motorcraft wire set fits a 86 351W

 

The closest I can find is for a 1985 f150 XLT 351w oem pn WR-4017-C for the 5.8L 351 CID 8 Cylinders; Kit, w/ EEC IV. This is from http://www.fordparts.com I had to use my VIN to get this part listed.

Ghostrider let me start by saying Thank You for your service to the country.I also am a vet US Army 68-71.
I went to Fordparts.com and got no satisfaction the only wires they showed for my truck were for a 6 banger.
Finally found right ones at Amazon.com. WR4037A They should be here this week.

Got my wires and installed them,they seem to be correct.Only problem I had was #1 thru #4 I had to reroute them.The way they were routed was under all the vacuum hoses and lines from the air pump.I literally had to cut the ends off to remove the old ones.Two of the old ones had cracks in them and water inside the cracks,I am hoping that is why truck ran a little rough.
I will find out when I install new carb.
