Unhappy some body help please

so I found out my carb is actually a 600 cfm but the guy says it has no kick down for automatic transmissions can someone explain this to me the website says it wont work with ford a.o.d transmissions but im not sure what transmission I have I just know its a 1965 f100 with automatic somebody please help so I don't mess up anythin

If it is a stock 65, I would seriously doubt it's an AOD (automatic overdrive) transmission; never worked on anything that old really, so I may be wrong, but don't believe so. I am sure someone will bladt me if I am. Kickdown on older models were a physical connection via a cable or bracket attached to the carburetor from the transmission, so when you punched it, it would downshift the transmission to a lower gear. Hope that helps.
