Angry rrr something else

I rebuilt my carb and now it won't start. It turns over, has spark(weak...yellow), has fuel, and I set the timing by the book. I have considered changing the coil. Any ideas?

I think changing a coil is not a good idea - you've got spark. I think you need to ensure that fuel is delivered into cylinders. Why did you have to set the timing ?

The timing was a bit sluggish. I know it is getting fuel. It went from starting, then barely running now it won't fire, it turns over, but that is it.

Rebuilt the carb, reset the timing and won't start! Did this thing run before? As Ham asked, why set timing for a fuel issue. We need more input from you!

As I was posting, you responded to Ham. Initially, why did you do the carb rebuild? What symtoms or concerns were you having?

Is it possible that distributor's cap is 180° rotated?
