Default replacing clutch.

I have the shop books.. But still don't understand. The kit I bought has a clutch spacer.. A little bass washer about a half inch thick?.. Where does this go? Does the truck require it? Its a 1986 f-150 2 wheel drive 3 speed with o/d. 10 inch clutch.. Anyone have any advice as to what to do?

its not a spacer or a washer it is the clutch pilot bsuhing and goes in the end of the crankshaft! throw it away and get a roller bearing instead!
