Default Replaced Door hing pins & bushings, now not closing tight
So the door is all nice and level and it closes nice and easy. problem is, it's not snug like the other one and it tends to rattle. Is there a way to adjust the mechanism to tighten it up?

You can loosen the pin on the door jam and push it inward a little and try it again. That should fix the rattle but if it's like mine it's really rattling because it needs new door weather stripping.

It was missing the plastic sleeve that makes the strike rod thicker... bought a replacement sleeve, installed it and it's working great now.

Make sure the door is lined up or it will break that plastic piece off soon

is the plastic sleeve you bought made by "doorman" or something to that effect. because i had the same problem and the sleeve i bought was too soft of plastic and is not shutting as good as it should.
