rearend problems

Default rearend problems

I ripped out my rear end the.other night out playing. Now I've ran in to the.problem of not haveing a trucknfrom that generation to get the rear end from. The one I have is. 86. 10.25 and What we think is. 3.56s And a 87 to 93 10.25 and have no idea what the ratio is in it so if there is anyone out there that can tell an easy way to find it other the. Counting teeth I would appreciate it

There should be a 2 digit axle code on the door sticker. If you have that then you can Google ford axle code for a decoding chart.

Well I don't have a door jam sticker and the tags are gone off my rear ends. Does anyone know of a way to use the Vin code. The biggest problem is the trick I want to take the rear end out of. Andnthat deocde would be great if I had the code

The VIN itself does not have detailed information like that.
VIN has basic info like engine size, model year, assembly plant etc.

If it were a newer vehicle then a Ford dealer may be able to look stuff up by VIN #, but I doubt any accessible records exist for these older model trucks
