Rear drum brake issue
Bleeding the brakes on my 1982 F-150 and have the following issue. The rear drivers side brake does not bleed any fluid, even when I completely remove the bleed screw. I then unscrewed the brake line at the input to the drum brake and confirmed fluid was present and coming out. All the other brakes bleed as expected.
Sounds like the wheel cylinder is plugged. Why are you bleeding the brakes? Was there some problem before you started?

I got the truck a few months ago and it had been stood for years. The brakes were not working well and the brake fluid was dark brown, I figured it was a good idea to replace the fluid.
Yes, the fluid should be replaced every few years. But it's safer & quicker to do it at the master cylinder reservoir by compressing all the wheel cylinders and using some suction device. I use a meat syringe on reservoirs that I haven't modified (drilled) to accept a larger tube.

Finally able to reply after working on the drum brakes, I ended up having a wheel cylinder that must have been slowly leaking for a long time and just locked up all the brake parts. My drum would not come off and I ended up heating it, tapping it with a hammer and finally cutting the spring clips holding the brake shoes on at the back of the wheel. Once I pulled it off I replaced the brake, springs and wheel cylinder. Once complete I had a brake light on the dashboard, I think I diagnosed it to either emergency brake cable which I tightened up and/or bleeding the front brakes for a second time, after that the light went out.

The e-brake cables have no effect on the light - on pre-'87 trucks, it's only triggered by the imbalance switch on the proportioning valve. Bleeding it re-centers the switch.
