my old rag joint ripped in half and i got a new one i have all the bolds lose but i cant figure out how to get it out anyone have an answer

 

Inside truck, column bolts to dash panel with either 2 or 4 bolts, unbolt and replace joint. Do not tighten joint untill column is back in original position, double check that rag is in a neutral position and adjust column to panel accordingly.

The plate at fire wall has rubber boot should give you the play you need to do repair.
Just remember DO NOT take bolts all the way out of column bracket.
