Pls Help me decide!
Hello all
I’m travelling over next week but can only get to view one of these trucks so I’d really like to get some input from experienced owners which would be the better buy, better value, easier to live with, get parts etc, and half value.
A. 1957 Chevy 3100.
B. 1940 Ford F-Series.
1952 Chevrolet 3100 V8 Auto - £49,950 Chevy V8 plus lots more. ore modern suspension as I see it.
1940 Ford V8 Hot Rod Pickup Truck. Superb,High End Build – St Andrews Autos - £39,950 Also Chevy V8 and nice mods but leaf spring rear still.
I think there is a chance of knocking a few thousand pounds of each but not more. T(e Chevy has already been reduced from £59,950. The Ford as far as I see hasn’t been reduced. Both are US vehicle specialists.
These are the two nicest I see right now. Could wait for more choice, but both look nice.
Oh, and I have a 600 mile drive home so which has more chance of getting me back in one piece comfortably!
