I have an 85 and when I bought it, the parking brake never worked. It seems "stuck" in the disengaged phase. If i try to push my foot down on it as hard as i can it wont go down at all and not engage. It also seems as if the cable is really pinched from where it leaves the cab floor and goes underneath the truck. Can it be way too tight to even be engaged? The problem is is that it is not rubbing or wearing on the rear drum so I don't really know what to say.
