Default Parking Brake Issues

So I've got an 86 F-150 and I'm rebuilding all the brakes (at the wheels) on all 4 corners of my truck and I'm having an issue with what I believe to be the park brake on the driver's side. I think it's got something to do with the cable so I'd like to get it adjusted. Does anybody have a picture of what the adjustment is supposed to look like?

I basically need to know the average length of adjustment rod sticking past the link where the two cables connect to the main cable. I'm thinking mine is way out of adjustment but without knowing how much tension it's "Supposed" to have I'm kind of flying blind.

Any help is appreciated!

What adjustment are you talking about? If you want pics, post pics of the problem, and we'll tell you what to do about it.
