Sure you have all the bolts out? Even the hard to reach two by the transmission? Well if you are sure you have them all out youll have to pry the pan off the engine. I typically used a metal putty knife and a hammer between the pan and block. Slowly work your way around until its loose. After the pan is off and cleaned up put the pan on a flat table and make sure the edges are warped. Tap them back down to make sure they are play and provide a good seal to the new gasket.

if the '85 351W is the same as the '94...I had no problems with the oil pump lines being in the way :/ I think you mean the oil filter lines, ya? count how many oil pan bolts you have, and make sure you have the same amount of holes in the new gasket. If you are short bolts to match up with all the holes...you missed some.

use a metal spatula, and tap that sucker around the edge with a small hammer or wrench...if you have the same crossmember as the '94, you may need to lift the motor to fully drop the pan.
