What gears are you going with for the 9"? I would also consider a modern 5-speed or auto with an overdrive...if you drive it a lot, you'll be happier with a little more fuel efficiency with the price of gas today. Also, with and OD, you can run a little lower of a gear in the 9" and have a little snap in its step. My 2 cents...

I was thinking of 410 and right now I am getting over 20 mpg and love the tranny I have it is a bullit proof with low gears that I love so I don't think so on a newer tranny I have 410 in it now so I should still get good mpg

You will get horrible gas mileage. Be limited to about 51 mph at 2200 rpms. I looked at putting a np435 trans which has the same 4th gear as 3rd gear in a 3 speed with overdrive and that's all it would do. You can pull a building down but you won't get crap for fuel mileage. I've got the same thing as you except trans. I'm gettin the zf 5 speed which is like yours just not as low of a 1st gear but I'll have O/D.

I never drive very fast even on the interstate so speed is the least of my worries I would just like to pull a building with it I like overkill

Ya you will be able to do that with absolutely no problem. You will just get passed up like its nothing. And get 4 mpg.
