Default new and need some advice

well guys i have used this site for information before and had been very useful. thank you all. now i need a lil more advice and knowledge you may have. i have a 79 f-150 standard cab long bed 2 wd. i love my truck! now i know alot of dodges even alot of the newer ones use a 5x5.5 lug pattern like our old fords now will the rims interchang? i like steel rims but wanna larger one like an 18 but the right 20 would look nice maybe. i could live with 16s. the other thing is my factory limited slip is on the fritz so i need to do new something to it. it is a ford nine so thats good. any suggestions i like posi but i am not gonna just weld it. how to find a solid third member at the junk yard to do a real quick swap? i do use this for work, and some moderate trails, but i like the fact thats it is quick, what would be a good ratio and tire size? thank you guys

I think you can get the clutch rebuild kits for the limited slip.
Remember to put in the special limited slip oil or additive.
I had an ARB air locker put in when my LS went out but that is pretty expensive. Push a button it's 'welded'. Push again it's a full differential, All on the fly.

I never understood getting high profile rims / tires on a truck or SUV but that is just my opinion as I am more into off road 4x4 etc.
