Default new guy questions

howdy all ,just moved to a farm and there was a 86 f-150 2-wd left for dead in the field. pulled it out and it dont look to bad .what is the name of the braking component under the cab on driver side frame rail ( round black brake lines go into it ) when you hit the brake pedal it shoots brake fluid to the other side . also looking for a pic. of the fuse box and location of the fuses in it ( what the do and how many amps ) tried doing a quick search and came up with nothing . any replies would be appreciated ,thanks

i think you are talking about a proportioning valve.

thanks thats what i needed to know. i got her fired up and running . it was ideling rough at first but blew out a huge mouse nest from the exhaust and got rid of all the mud wasps nest in the air box ,now running decent. have to replace the tranny cooler lines they are just rotted threw. drove it 7 miles with no other problems ,agian thanks and will keep you all posted on the progress
