new guy. hello. intro(long)
Started messing with mustangs way back in 1989 and had a couple of low 10 second street stangs with everything from a stock 89 w/gas to a 351w with a supercharger on it. owned a 94 SHO, 98 Cobra, a 99 Lightning, a 2001 GT w/nitrous and my last project was a complete frame off 90 coupe. got into motorcycles after that(around 2004) and still have a Hayabusa that I love to ride. my current DD is a 2001 Lightning.
Just inherited a 1965 f-100 from my dad that he has had for about 15 years. its been sitting in his shop for about the last 5 years just being cranked every now and again because he's been sick.
He and I did all the work to it except paint. it was originally a white lwb that had been paint grey and had red interrior, 352/3 on the tree. i built a 302 out of a 89 mustang and put an AOD behind it and he had it painted red. my dad was kind of a cheap skate and cut some corners on a few things so now that ive got it im going back through it and doing it right.
ill try to post up some pics as it goes and ill be on here looking for advise also.
