Question Need help/parts

Hey guys, I have an 85 with the HO 5.8 (351W) with the 4 barrel carb. I had problems with the gas tank (side mount of the dual tank set up), as the previous owner let it sit with 1/4 tank of gas in it for a year. Long story short, I replaced that tank and ran a new single fuel line to my fuel pump. BUT....I think my sending unit is bad (gummed up with rust, gunk, what have you) and I need another but I cannot find a new one locally I seriously doubt that FoMoCo still has some laying around for me to order one from them. Anyone have any ideas where I can find one in good shape? It goes on the side mount 19 gallon tank for a Carb'd engine with an engine mounted cam driven fuel pump.

I'm not sure but i guess it must be interchangable with any 19 gallon side tank sending unit. If you have it removed, take it to the parts shop to compare to what they have.

Default Parts house

the local parts store does not show ANY sending units for a side mount 19 gallon tank. Any year, any engine, unless you have a 5.0 L FI engine with in-tank electric fuel pump.
