Hey i just got my 86 with a 351w. Had a bad alternator and it was already taken out, and I'm not seeing how it mounts in there. can someone post a pic of how its bolted in? i was told it goes on the left side of the motor as your looking at the motor, thanks for the time.

 

okay, update i figured out where it goes i think, does anyone know how long the "long bolt" is? oreillys auto zone and advanced said it should be 5 or 6 inches as opposed to the short bolt which is just for the tensioner. i tried both and they seem to short. i think its a 7 in bolt 3/8 inch thread. anyone that knows please tell me. thanks
