I am 17, I am trying to learn about auto on my 68 F100, Dixie. She is an amazing truck, she even has dump hydor's. Everything as far as everything goes works great... except...

I am having a problem, and I think it is comming from the starter. Whenever I got to start her, she tries really hard to turn over, but something is preventing her from doing so.

At first I thought it could be the battery and cables, but when I looked at them, everything was hunkydory. Yet she is still making a ferocious clicking noise, and its really sad. (

Does anyone have an idea of what could be wrong??
