Newbie with an 85 Lariat
Howdy,
Just bought a 1985 Lariat XLT, 5.0 EFI, auto with 134,000 miles. Truck runs great and other than the body (which is straight but has minor dings and faded paint (AZ)), it works very well. First Ford of any kind I've ever owned although I used 3 different Ford trucks at work over the years (loved the straight 6). Any words of wisdom, popular upgrades, maintanance ideas, things to look out for would be apprieciated. Is there another forum which caters more to my model?

If it runs good and is straight, you are ahead in the game. Keep it maintained with good products & you will have a workhorse for years to come.
