My new highboy.
Picked up this gem today.
390, C6 auto.
Needs a good amount of work. Has been sitting for 7 years, was bought for scrap, charged the battery and it started. Put it on and off the trailer under its own power.

Great looking truck, I had one of those in high school I wish I would have never sold it. I would love to get another and fix it up if I could ever get the wife to agree to it.

Restore it! People ruin those trucks when they mud them, and how many perfect trucks from the 70's are out there? Not many. Lift it 4 or 6 inches with some 35's, get some chrome wheels, and bumpers. Get a new factory chrome grill and make it original. Those trucks are the best trucks ford ever built! Plus then you can keep both your trucks nice!
How much did you pay?

Bought a generator off my boss for $400, and traded.
Where the hell can I get original parts for this thing???
And I'm staying away from chrome. Most chrome is either gonna be black or painted to match

Check out LMCtruck.com for original parts...there's a couple others mail order but a good bit of stuff you'll want to find at a junkyard or possibly ask for help from other users. I'm getting ready to start taking requests for parts b/c we have a few decent junkyards here.
