multible questions
Hey guys,Happy Holidays to you all and yours.
I have the next 2 days off and thought I might do some tinkering.
I have an 86 F150 351 W with a 4180c carb.I recently rebuilt the carb and am not sure if I got the choke remounted correctly.Seems like the butterfly is not opening fully. When I turn the adjuster the butterfly does not move.
Also where is the high idle screw? Is it the nut with the spring under it?
Can you replace fuel level sending unit on front tank withour dropping tank?
This one is weird. When I sit in the cab and put my foot on the brake I hear a noise under the hood.I thought it might be a vacumm leak so today I had the wife hit the brake while I listened under the hood.No noise???
Thanks in advance for any help.George

Hi George, the carb question is not clicking my memory into this time frame, visualizing a nut and spring but thinking its the accelerator pump adjustment. Moveing on, fuel sender issue, drop the tank or remove the bed. Hold on, have to reread thread. Oh yeah, vacuum noise, most likely the seal around the brake pedal shaft entering the booster, annoying but not critical, will last forever.
