84 f150 seems to lurch when im pulling a hill in 4 th. I put new fuel filter on but i have two inline. Seems like its staved for fuel? Any suggestions?

 

Mine was doing the same thing and all else had been checked or changed. The piece of rubber feed line just off the metal line in the engine compartment had swollen and had a crack.

Changed the whole rubber line and now it will climb to 9720 feet without a problem....

 

I think i found it last night. The bottom part of the carburetor was loose. I tightened it up.
