Hello everyone,

My name is Al and I'm new to the Ford forum. I've always liked the looks of the older Ford trucks and really wanted to get something interesting that I could possibly modify, or just use as a daily driver/off road vehicle. My current ride is a 2001 Buick Century and one can imagine how boring that is .

So just like any forum, heres what I'm specifically looking for:

-1970-1986 (carbureated engine) Ford F150, (Not really interested in newer stuff: Too expensive, don't really like the looks, and just too new for me ).

-Ford F150 or Bronco (No: 250s, 3/4 tons, heavy/super duty, duallys, etc.)

-MUST have a V8 (351 or bigger preferred, but will consider 302)

-MUST be MANUAL TRANSMISSION (any speed)

-MUST be 4WD and have off-roading capabilities.

-Cab makes no difference
-Short bed preferred but Long/regular is fine too.
-Styleside/stepside makes no difference
-Under 100k miles preferred
-Not really interested in projects or work-in-progress (depending on extent)
-Rust has to be minimal or non-existant
-Looking for mostly everything mechanical to function properly, no major mechanical issues, but certain stuff I know is an easy fix, I might make an exception to.
-Truck must be in the $5500 roughly or under price range.
-Originals preferred but I understand some modifications have to be put in to keep these oldies running. So any type of modification is fine (exhaust, carb swap, etc)
-Must be in driveable condition & be able to reach interstate speeds.
-Carbureated engines prefered, but still will consider Fuel-Injection.
-Must have good title
-Must be able to post/send pictures.

-Area: Really anywhere in the U.S., what I'm looking for here seems to be kind of rare on autotrader & ebay.

-Would most likely be a Fly in-Drive home if you are more than 200 miles from Chicago area.

Please let me know if you have an older Ford for sale! Basically I'm looking for a Manual V8 with 4WD older than 1986ish in working condition!
