I am worried about parts getting robbed off my 73 Ford. As most people know on the 70s models the hood pop latch is in the grill.
Is there a cheap relocating kit, or should I just drill a hole, run a cable and put a small padlock on it?
I also thought of doing a cable and pully and run it to the fender wall or bumper and cutting the leverage lever off......
What have some of you all done to solve this issue?

 

If you are going to relocate your latch why not relocate it to the cab? I would hit up junk yards in search of a latching device that best matches yours, ya never know what a few hours junk yarding and thinking out side of the box can do.

 

I want to keep the inside original I'm even leavin the stock am radio in the dash and hiding my cd player in the glove box
