Edit:Forgot which section I was in...

Kind of fell into this one. 1997 F250 4x4 460 auto. It's former plow truck and work truck. Needs some work but only 138k miles. Should be fun.

Default Old red

I bought this 1981 for $500. It was rusted thru in a lot of places. It was actually a freewheeling edition, but I can't run that much pinstripe straight. I cut out the rust, welded in the patch pieces. (Scavenged from junk yards.) Had the original Ford candy apple red mixed in single stage enamel. And snaded it down to steel, repaired any dents I could find, and painted it myself in my back yard. Since this pic was taken I've added new wheels a old school roll bar and lights.

That's a nice looking rig. I am in the process of doing that to my 70. Just took the bed off and sent over to get sand blasted

Sweet. Love it that people are still putting these old trucks to work... that's what the were ment to do.

After body work and paint I'm not making mine a trailer queen but a refreshed working truck...
