Is it in the computer, throttle body, pipes them self, or what? May sound like a stupid question i just need to know because I'm wanting to do some stuff with my throttle body and intake and I need to know before I start removing and replacing stuff.

i dont know on your vehicle specifically, it should be somewhere along the intake before the gas hits the air, just follow the wires/vacuum hoses. air goes in, mixes with gas and then into engine. the computer will have a sensor to check the temp/oxygen level etc of the air before it decides how much fuel to mix with it

either way, i dont think you should be messin around too much with that stuff untill you know more about what your doing. on an EFI everything is set up in a manner that the computer is expecting, if you start moving or adjusting stuff you run the risk of altering the signals the computer is getting or causing it to react in a way the engine doesnt like... what exactly are you trying to do here?

without too much alteration i can only imagine putting a cold air intake on it

The gist of it is two K&N cold air intakes. And I've considered the EFI computer, and I plan on taking to a dyno after I get everything said and done with. I've never saw a design for my truck with what I'm planning to do, so I don't want to go public until I get it finished. And I promise when it is there will be pictures. But over all what are your thoughts on it?

well my understanding is theres not a whole lot of messing around that can be done thats worth the cost without a total performance parts rebuild and then a custom programmed computer. but it sounds like you have something up your sleeve. so show us what you got when your ready!
