Default Instrument cluster lighting??

Alright so none of my gauge lights work or the radio lights or the ac(not sure if it had lights originally or not) but I check the fuse and its was fine.. I'm probably gonna change it out anyway just to make sure.. But surely all of those bulbs aren't blown? Anyway if appreciate any input.. All the outside lights work fine even the blinker lights above the instrument panel work and the emissions light.. It's a 1985 f150.. Just seeing if anyone may know my problem..

Check for a loose connection at the plug into the cluster and double check the grounds. Mine did this some times and a swift slap the top of the dash will turn them back on, found the plug in the cluster the bottom had worked loose just enough to wiggle and break the connection. As to the AC control light that is where checking the grounds come in. Does the cigar lighter work? I think the light uses the same ground or is connected close to it.

Hope this helps

One good addition would be to put reflective tape all over the cluster so it reflects the light back at you. Doing it to mine soon also just can't find any reflective tape! None at walmart or target. Bringing out the big guns and going to a hobby shop next.
