Welcome to the Site...Lots of good info on here....

im not 100% on these old fords (im a chevy guy..heh ...dont tell anyone) ..
on them they usually had some plastic clips that clip onto a prong on the bedside..but i would wait and have one of those ford guru's to come on and tell you ...

Sweet lookin ride you got there

alot of times on the chevys...the clips would break after you take it off... and instead of finding them hard to find clips...people would just rivit them on...or had a bowtie screw... or sometime of like non original type of screw that looks cool...and it would do a better job and look unique...

Check with a body shop, and look at their removal tool and also get their tips about the job.

you will find that at the end of strips will be a small stud and cap nut. The centers use plastic clips with snap shoulders.
You should not need a tool to remove or install once you have unbolted the end studs. Difficult to explain here: Take the cap nuts off each end then with an easy twisting motion pop the trim off from bottom to top. You will see that the plastic snap has a tophat look and will simply snap back on by pushing on from top down, then bump with heal of hand you will here a snapping sound meaning moulding is seated again.
Do NOT attemp this around the windows. The trim around windows is held on by metal spring clips and require a tool to remove. IF the tool is still available you might have to purchase from snap-on or even go as far as to order from eastwood.

I hope I have helped you.....good luck.
