Hey yall , I got a small prob that I could use some others help with.

I got a 1984 F150 that I bought not to long ago.. New starter , solenoid, cables , Starts and runs like a champ but here lately after it gets warm the starter REALLY drags and is very loud when starting.
Ive replaced ther starter twice thinking maybe I got a bad one. Ive heard a solenoid can cause it if it gets to hot. it is external mounted on the firewall, Should I go ahead and change it out to be on the safe side?

Any help would be most welcome. thanks all for looking

Well you've put on 2 starters @ $60 each so why not try a $12 solenoid?
