Default Help Intake Manifold

Hey guys I need some help I've been doing a lot of research on what's the best affordable intake for a bone stock 302 with a 2bbl and I can't find much at all Reason I'm wanting a new manifold is because i just purchased a new holley 600cfs aluminum finish carb for a great deal couldn't pass it up and I need a new manifold to match it up. everything I'm finding usually is saying its for engines with bigger cams and heads and stuff can I use a performance intake on stock engine? Any recommend brands? And will I actually see any benefits from putting a 4bbl carb and intake on my truck. thanks

The one thing you will notice is that when you put a bigger intake system on, your torque will fall off. Torque is what gets that big heavy truck rolling, or pulls the boat up the hills.
Bigger intake will help produce power which in a truck would be that passing gear jump.
It's a tradeoff.
Your motor will only produce so much energy without (major internal changes). Whether you want more power or more torque is a choice, but you're going to get 1 or the other.
Ford tried to kind of balance it to get fairly good power and still have the torque to move a truck, which is quite heavy. That ain't no mustang you're driving. Different considerations apply.
