Default Headlight Issue

I am having a headlight issue with my 83 4.9 f150. The problem is that headlights will some times just randomly go out for a few seconds and them come back on but not always , it does not happen all the time, and sometimes I have to shut the lights off and turn them back on, does anyone know what the problem could be?

Could be a bad headlight switch on the dash or the high or low beam switch on the floor. Also check your grounds before you start swapping out parts.

Where is the ground located for the headlight rusty84f-150? I can't find a good diagram that shows the location.

There should be a ground some where on the core support for it to the frame or battery. I can't remember which way it is. You could try googling it or you could spent a little money and get a chilton manual from your local auto parts store.
