Default Go Fast Suspension Help

I will be building my truck as a weekend warrior, or a sleeper if you will. It's an old 85 long bed. I will be building up an 8.8 and running the 4 speed trans behind a mildly built 351w. My immediate concern once I get everything set up on the drivetrain will be the suspension. I plan on drag racing the truck on test n tune nights from time to time so I'd like to run a ladder bar set-up and some drag type shocks ie, 90/10 up front and 50/50 out back (I don't know if those ratios are even recommended for truck use ).

Any recommendations or suggestions on brands or what to use? I've went through google many a time and evidently having and building a pre-87 2wd f150 for this purpose isn't exactly a popular thing.

Also does anybody know a lightweight wheel that would work in this scenario? (preferably no chrome)

On your shocks,i'd recomend a set of Strange Eng. coilovers. They are adjustable so you can fine tune them. Here's a pic of mine under my old Chevy.
