fuel problem

Question fuel problem

1986 f 150 302 no rear tank front tank only truck runs great untill you hit a hill or bump then it shuts down no fuelgoing to motor fuel pump in tank is working fuel pump on frame is working any ideas on whats causing this stumped at this pointany ideas would be very appreciated thanks barry

A hill or bump and it shuts down immediately? Sounds like an electrical connection issue, probably related to ignition/spark. Could be a bad ground connection too.

I agree it may well be a bad ground. Start under the hood and work your way to the back of the truck. There are many grounds on my 1982 . I chased grounds for about a week and i always seemed to find one more ground some where. Good luck.
