Frame replacement
Gentleman,
Live in the great state of Ohio and I am in need to replace the frame under my 85 150 4x4. I have found some southern ones, but they say all but snowplow package and the local Ford garage said the vin is to old to decode. It does have trailer tow (sway bars, frt and rear and quad shocks)

how did the frame manage to rust away but not the body ? i live in missouri and my sheetmetal always goes before the frame even gets crusty,I have a mud truck that I welded in reinforcements around the shock mounts and spring perches why do you need to replace frame? Easier to buy another truck!!
