I sent the engine out of my 85 f-150 5.8 HO 4 barrel to a machine shop for rebuild.My block casti ng # was a E4TE.I was sent back the wrong engine.It is a 94 base 5.8 casting # F4TE.Befor I go to get it straight does any one know if the 85 5.8 HO 4V had Forged or Cast Crank and Rods?I know to block has stronger webbing causing Ford to place the Oil Dipstick in the Pan rather than the Block.
