Has anybody put a flip kit on a 80's model f150 ?? I wanna go lower but im not sure if ill have to c notch my frame

 

old blue engine 5.0l , if so can u post pictures of alternator and power steering pump brakets also ac big plate

 

It wouldn't hurt to do a notch, Just in-case of pot holes, Or most importantly hauling something. I had a flip kit for my 78 and I sent it back, I just found it easier to add shackles and remove 1 leaf spring from the spring pack(I removed the bottom). And got close to around 4.5" the rear. A notch does around 5" so from what I heard. I seen some people just shave some of the bump stops and that was about it. They bottomed out some.
