Question 1986 f150 cranks but wont start

hello i have a 1986 for f150, it has the 300 six but recently quit running. it started one day when i parked it in the grass then went to start it and it did nothing so i got a push and poped the clutch and she came to life, so i drove it like that for a couple weeks then it quit again, now i cant even roll start it, i had changed the soiloinid a few months before and i had a new starter so i wired a push button to the soilonid to turn over the engine and thats all it does, its gettin spark at all 6 cylinders gas in the carburator and still nothing, with the throtle held to the floor it will fire once but then thats it , so far iver changed the, starter, coil, ignition control module, all of the battery cables, ignition switch and i dont know where to try next, even when gas is dumped straight into the carb it fires once then nothing, any help would be gratefully appreacheted thank you

Does the rotor turn? If so, is it in time? Am thinking the cam gear might have stripped.

today im going to check the rotor and if it is still turning ill check the cam gear, but i was wondering there is any way to check the cam gears that doesnt involving removing the cover on the frontof the engine? and i know the gear is pressed onto the cam, if that is the problem is there a way to change it witout removing the cam?

Mine was the gear on the distributor shaft not in the engine so I will cross my fingers that yours is the same..

Default Still baffled....

....had a mechanic come out not really up on 5.4L engines. I had taken the fuel pressure switch (guess that's what you call it) off the fuel rail on driver side and turned it over. The gas did come out really steady, but I'm not sure (he wasn't either) how fast it should come out. He says that his mechanic friends say that since the low oil pressure light came on when it first quit, its the motor.
???

Well your dizzy must be turning to get spark at the 6 plugs.

Timing changed?

Maybe you want to check Cylinder 1 on Top Dead Center on a compression stroke. See what plug wire the Rotor is pointing to.
